    Exceptionally rare set of 4 Commonwealth silver slip top spoons London 1652

    This exceptionally rare set of 4 Commonwealth silver slip top spoons were made in London in 1652 by Jeremy Johnson and measure 6 3/8 inches in length, they are fully and clearly hallmarked to the backs of the stems and in the bowl with the leopards head. They have the initials S over GS to the slip top and there is also a pinprick engraved device to the backs of the bowls, the bowls are well shaped with no obvious signs of wear and of good gauge and they are in excellent condition with no problems.
