Good provincial Charles I silver seal top spoon C1620 Wokingham

Reference: acorn

This rare provincial Charles I silver seal top spoon was made C1620 and is marked with an acorn and pellets struck 3 times on the stem and once in the bowl (This mark appears on a similar spoon illustrated in the Ellis collection Lot 109 Pg 80 Sotheby & Co New Bond Street 13th November 1935, then ascribed by the late Mr Ellis as Wokingham and believed to be the only example) It measures 6 7/8 inches in length and has a large well defined seal to the top of the stem with a well shaped bowl of good gauge showing no obvious signs of wear, a very good quality spoon with no problems.
