    Very rare Charles II silver counter box ex How collection C1670

    This very rare Charles II silver counter box is unmarked but dates to C1670 and measures 1.25 inches tall by 1.25 inches in dia, it has a pull off lid that is decorated with a Tudor rose in relief to the centre with dots, flower heads and fleur de lys around the outside edge, it has a reeded edge that fits over the body with a matching reeded border to the bottom edge, it has the initials MH engraved under the base and is in excellent condition with no problems. A very rare find that would grace any collection and has the handwritten ticket inside from HOW of Edinburgh.
