Fine armorial George II silver coffee pot London 1744 Richard Beale

This fine George II silver armorial coffee pot was made in London in 1744 by Richard Beale and measures 8.75 inches tall by 7.75 inches handle to spout and is 3 13/16 inches in dia across the base and has a lovely coat of arms to one side. The cast spout has a large shell detail to the underside with an acanthus leaf terminal whilst the handle terminal has a scroll and drop design to the top and a scroll to the bottom and it is fully hallmarked to the side and has a stepped, hinged lid with a nicely shaped finial and the pot itself has a "tucked in" bottom and is in excellent condition with no problems at all, a fine piece of George II silver at its best!
