    Good quality shell backed George II silver Hanoverian spoon 1739

    This Hanoverian George II silver shell backed spoon was made in London in 1739 and measures 8.25 inches in length and has a very well defined shell to the back of the bowl and is fully and clearly bottom marked to the back of the stem and also bears the engraved initial H to the bottom of the stem, it has a well formed bowl with no signs of wear and is in very good condition with no problems.
