This very good quality crested early Victorian silver salver was made in London in 1839 by Royal silversmith Robert Garrard and measures 7.75 inches in dia and is crested to the centre with a bird atop a chapeau, it has a shaped border with gadrooned and shell and bead detailing and stands on 4 cast and scrolled feet and is fully and clearly hallmarked to the back and weighs 12.85 ounces and is in lovely condition, a super quality salver from a fine silversmith.
