    Very rare George III silver and carved wood punch or soup ladle 1770

    This exceptionally rare George III silver soup or punch ladle was made in London in 1770 by Henry Hayens and measures 14 inches in length and has a lovely carved wood handle with scrolled acanthus leaf detail to the end, it has a nice thick scallop edge and spirally fluted bowl with a large double drop heel to the back of the bowl and is fully and clearly hallmarked to the back of the bowl, it is a nice weighty piece in very good condition with no problems a very rare item.
