Large crested Victorian silver gilt Livery cup or goblet London 1887 Hunt and Roskell

This very large crested Victorian silver gilt livery cup or goblet was made in London in 1887 by Royal silversmiths Hunt and Roskell and measures 9.5 inches tall by 4 5/8 inches in dia across the top and base, it has a sharkskin finish with bead detailing knopping to the stem and is engraved around the base with THE GIFT OF THE MERCERS COMPANY TO COMMEMORATE THE JUBILEE OF QUEEN VICTORIA 1887. It has a laurelled cartouche with a crest to the front with the motto HOMOR DEO in a banner below it and is fully and clearly hallmarked under the base. It is in excellent condition with no problems and weighs 16.5 ounces or 514 grams.
