Exceptionally rare William and Mary silver pin cushion London 1691 Anthony Nelme

This exceptionally rare armorial William and Mary silver pin cushion was made in London in 1691 by Anthony Nelme and measures just over 6.5 inches long by 4.75 inches wide and is 1.75 inches high to the silver frame, it has cut corners and stands on 4 scrolled feet, it has a reeded border to the top edge and a lovely original coat of arms to one side. To the underside it has on oak base secured with 4 silver screws and is fully and clearly hallmarked beneath this and the cushion is a replacement, a very good quality piece, sturdily made and in lovely condition.
