Nice quality early George I silver porringer London 1714

This very nice, early George I silver porringer was made in London in 1714 by Robert Timbrell and Joseph Bell and measures 3.75 inches tall by 6 5/8 inches handle to handle and is 4.25 inches in dia, it has spiral fluting to the bottom third of the body with 2 bands of engraving above and a raised rope design towards the top with further flower head and leaf style engravings either side and to the front there is a central cartouche bearing the remnants of pin pricked engraved initials with scrolling acanthus leaves and fish scale engraving either side, it has scrolling handles and is fully and clearly hallmarked to the side and is in good condition with a nice colour and weighs 7.25 ounces.
