    Good Provincial William and Mary Disc or Trefid end Spoon C1690

    This provincial William and Mary silver disc end or trefid spoon was made C1690 by William Gould of Marlborough and is struck with the makers mark only 3 times, 2 being the same and the other a different punch. It measures 7 inches in length and has a reeded rattail to the back of the bowl and bears the original initial of MR to the back of the stem. The bowl has some slight signs of wear but nothing major, a nice interesting spoon with unusual disc/trefid and matching a further spoon on the site.
