Unusual provincial Charles II silver disc end or trefid spoon C1690

Reference: wg1

This provincial Charles II silver disc end or trefid spoon was made C1690 by William Gould of

arlborough and is struck with the makers mark only three times two of the same style and one slightly different. It measures 7 inches in length and has a reeded rattail to the back of the bowl and bears the original initial of MR to the back of the stem. The bowl has some slight signs of wear but nothing major, a nice interesting spoon with unusual disc/trefid and matching a further spoon on the site.
